is a soon to be constructed village of 100 low-low cost, structurally sound homes. When finished, it's location will be in Ghana, near a 100,000 acre farm and ethanol production plant. The core of each of these homes is a Solar Power and Water Center (SPWC) which provides clean running water and frees each home from all utility grids. But the most important part of each SPWC is its sewage containment and treatment system. This deals with the open sewage found today in many African communities. This sewage is a major contributor to the spread of malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Perhaps you are not aware of the fact that malaria kills more people in Africa than HIV. You also perhaps do not know that the most unfortunate victims of this disease are the African children. Recently, Northern Nevadan Gene Long visited several African countries and during that trip he became aware of the need for sewage containment and treatment, as well as clean running water. Details on this trip, and its effect on Gene, can be found in a newspaper article which appeared recently in the Tahoe Bonanza. Click Here to read the entire article. Mr. Long is the founder of Angels For A Clean Planet (ACP), a registered 501 3c non-profit organization based in Reno, Nevada; and is building the SPWCs at a plant in the Reno area.

What is needed to make New Reno a reality? Sponsors who will invest in this project. $2,300 builds one half of a Solar Power and Water Center. Each sponsor's name will appear on a dedication plaque placed on a home. Of course contributions of any amount are gratefully received and appreciated, and all contributions are tax deductible.
